Job Opening - Toronto Canada - University Campus Representative

Attention Toronto Students
Do you need some casual extra cash during university semester?

Details: BetterEdit requires the service of one student campus representative in Toronto, Canada. The person selected will be responsible for thoroughly distributing BetterEdit posters to the major university campuses in Toronto.

Campuses: Currently we are looking to cover York University, University of Toronto and Ryerson Downtown Campus. You will be in charge of these three campuses each semester.

Pay: Representatives are paid $50 CAD PER WEEK for 2-4 Hours PER WEEK. You only cover one campus each week, rotating to a different campus each week.

Duties: You will be trained at each campus including instruction on how and where to put up posters. You will be responsible for placing and monitoring posters at one campus per week when university semester is on. The job is to make sure posters stay visible for as long as possible on as many poster boards as possible at each campus.

Hours: Each campus takes between 2-4 hours to cover so you can expect 2-4 hours work PER WEEK. You are free to complete the work whenever it fits within your timetable as long posters are placed during weekdays only, not weekends.

  1. Applicants must be available to do this job for AT LEAST ONE FULL UNIVERSITY YEAR (both semesters - fall and winter). It will count in your favor if you are available to work for 2 or more years (4 university semesters or more in a row).


  2. You must be physically fit and capable of walking around a campus and up and down stairs in an efficient manner.


  3. You must responsible, trustworthy and committed to monitoring your campaign to make sure posters stay visible.


  4. Training - You must be available to start training immediately. You will be paid for the training period.

  5. Payment and Communications - You must have regular Internet access and have use of these online services:


    • Skype - to make Internet phone calls to the BetterEdit Manager.
    • Paypal.com - so you can receive payment for your work.
