Job Opening - Honolulu Hawaii - University Campus Representative

Attention Honolulu Students
Do you need some casual extra cash during university semester?

Details: BetterEdit requires the service of one student campus representative in Honolulu, Hawaii. The person selected will be responsible for thoroughly distributing BetterEdit posters to the major university campuses in Honolulu.

Campuses: Currently we are looking at covering Hawaii Pacific University and University of Honolulu campuses, but we may include one more campus. You will be in charge of these 2-3 campuses per semester.

Pay: Representatives are paid $40 USD PER WEEK for 2-4 Hours PER WEEK. You only cover one campus each week, rotating to a different campus each week.

Duties: You will be trained at each campus including instruction on how and where to put up posters. You will be responsible for placing and monitoring posters at one campus per week when university semester is on. The job is to make sure posters stay visible for as long as possible on as many poster boards as possible at each campus.

Hours: Each campus takes between 2-4 hours to cover so you can expect 2-4 hours work PER WEEK. You are free to complete the work whenever it fits within your timetable as long posters are placed during weekdays only, not weekends.

Conditions

Please make sure you meet these conditions before applying.

  1. Applicants must be available to do this job for AT LEAST ONE FULL UNIVERSITY YEAR (both semesters - fall and winter). It will count in your favor if you are available to work for 2 or more years (4 university semesters or more in a row).


  2. You must be physically fit and capable of walking around a campus and up and down stairs in an efficient manner.


  3. You must responsible, trustworthy and committed to monitoring your campaign to make sure posters stay visible.


  4. Training - You must be available from 11AM to 5PM on the following days for training. You will be paid for the training period. These dates and times are not negotiable.


    • 11AM - 6PM Monday 4th of September 2006

  5. Payment and Communications - You must have regular Internet access and have use of these online services:


    • Skype - to make Internet phone calls to the BetterEdit Manager for free.
    • Paypal.com - so you can receive payment for your work.
